One of the lasting treasures of your Wedding Day are the photographs. At The Haycock we have five acres of award winning gardens mixing manicured lawns with beautifully fragrant rose beds. Gravelled walks through rose covered arches and quaint cobbled courtyards are a wonderful backdrops for the photographs of your special day. The gardens slope gradually down to the tree lined banks of the River Nene which wends its way towards the city of Peterborough.
The River Nene is a favourite with boaters from the sedate and brightly coloured narrowboats which lazily sail past to the more modern cruisers. The Haycock Hotel has a private mooring and guests are welcome to moor their craft for the evening, checking availability with our Reception Desk.
Guests will find a summer evening stroll after dinner a must, to savour the scents of the beautiful flowers and grasses lovingly tended by our dedicated team of gardeners. Or evening coffee and liqueurs sitting in the peaceful ambience of our formal gardens.
